Risk: Dice War is a strategic game available on the iPhone platform. It is set on 2D maps with varying numbers of territories, ranging from 22 to 43. The objective of the game is to either control every territory on the map or be the last player standing.
At the beginning of the game, territories are randomly assigned to players, and each territory is stacked with a random number of dice representing armies. A player is selected at random to start the game.
Players take turns attacking and defending neighboring territories. To address the potential disadvantage of starting last, the 6th and 7th players receive a one die bonus in their dice distributions. This increases the probability of their territories surviving attacks in the first round of play.
